UCSF Retirees Association Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of the UCSF Retirees Association (UCSFRA), keeping the organization active and vibrant.

As a volunteer, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to many aspects of the association, including events, publicity and communications, and financial operations and budgeting.

Volunteer Opportunities

We’re currently recruiting volunteers for the following areas:

  • Program Committee: This committee plans monthly events and outings including hikes and docent tours of local San Francisco and Bay Area sites of interest.
  • Membership Committee: This committee helps build strategies to grow our membership through special programs and mailings.
  • Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteers: Every so often we need a few people to do a task, for example, prepare a mailing, welcome guests to campus, help out with luncheons, etc.
  • Event Volunteers: Assist in preparation, promotion, and execution of UCSFRA events and programs, including planning, coordinating, and running events.
