As part of our commitment to our UCSF Retirees Association (UCSFRA) members, we partner with several campus and community groups that keep us informed, engaged, and active with UC, UCSF, and each other. We hope you will visit this page regularly to learn about new events and activities, along with viewing recordings and handouts of our virtual learning series programs.

In addition to the resources listed below from our campus and community partners, there are many benefits for our UCSFRA community, such as:

  • Monthly eNewsletters with useful links to UCSF news and events (virtual and in-person)
  • Invitations to lectures provided by UC Berkeley faculty and friends
  • UCSF Library courtesy cardholder account with privileges that allow up to five circulating items at a time
  • Special access - twice annually - to the Columbia Sportswear Company Employee Store
  • Membership discounts to Parnassus and Mission Bay Fitness Centers
  • UCSF Shuttle service for appointments and official UCSF business with membership card
  • Representation on the Council of UC Retiree Associations

Institute on Aging (IOA)

Founded in 1975, the Institute on Aging (IOA) is one of California’s largest community-based nonprofit organizations providing comprehensive health, social, and psychological services for older adults and adults living with disabilities. IOA’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for adults as they age, by enabling them to maintain their health, well-being, independence, and participation in the community. Long considered one of the most innovative and diverse organizations of its kind, IOA touches the lives of more than 50,000 older adults and adults with living disabilities and their families each year through programs designed to alleviate isolation and enable seniors to continue living independently in the community.
