UCSFRA: Tour of the Rumsey Map Center at Stanford

Join the UCSF Retirees Association (UCSFRA) for a docent-led tour* of cartographic materials.

The Rumsey Map Center houses a collection of over sixteen thousand maps, globes, and atlases that are considered rare, artistic, and unusual. David Rumsey’s collection “pulls users into the map world” through data visualization expanding into the metaverse with the Center housing the most advanced exploration technology as the past, present, and future converge to represent the “gold standard” of map libraries.

Plan your visit so that you can also explore the Anderson Collection and the Rodin Sculpture Garden at Stanford University!
