6 - 7 p.m. Pacific time

Aleksandar Rajkovic, MD, PhD, and Sawona Biswas, MS, will discuss how whole-genome sequencing helps scientists identify and respond to diseases much earlier using preventive therapies based on a deep understanding of disease biology. Through the 3D Health Study, UCSF seeks to build a genomic database to broaden our understanding of the genomic variations underlying health and disease and help ensure that precision medicine at UCSF serves everyone, not just those who can afford it. Current UCSF patients may be eligible to join and receive a free genetic test with results and counseling.

UCSF is committed to making its facilities, activities, and events accessible. To request accommodations for this event, please contact us at least one week before the event date.
