At the event, you'll experience the personal guided meditations our scientists use to help patients reduce stress and increase social connection.

You'll also discover how your brain may become more compassionate through compassionate meditation, and how scientists measure “your brain on mindfulness” with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

A light lunch will be served after the event.

Dr. Weng is a clinical psychologist and neuroscientist with an interest in the neurobiological mechanisms through which meditation training may improve social behavior and mental health.
