The Makers Lab is the UCSF Library’s makerspace, where the UCSF community can access innovative technology (e.g., 3-D printers and virtual reality equipment) and attend hands-on workshops (e.g., Storytelling During a Pandemic) for education, research, and patient care.
During this virtual program to promote lifelong learning, Makers Lab staff will introduce the space, showcase health science projects, and lead a mini design thinking activity to both spark ideas on how UCSF alumni and retirees can use the resources (100% virtual until it’s safe to visit in-person) plus solicit input on the future of the Makers Lab and the UCSF Library.
Make sure to bring a pencil, paper, and your natural creativity!
