5:30-8:45 p.m.

All UCSF alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends are invited to join Maureen Longworth, MD ’83, for a special campus showing and discussion of her new award-winning film, Blue Ticket.

Blue Ticket is a historical fiction/romantic thriller based on true stories gathered about LGBTQ Alaskan men secretly removed by police and their vigilantes in the 1960s. The script was selected by the SF Bay Area Playwriters Festival, and the film was awarded Excellence at the LGBTQ Unbordered International Film Festival. The Juneau-Douglas City Museum awarded Dr. Longworth the Marie Darlin Prize of $5,000 for a work of art shining a light on a marginalized group in previously unspoken Southeast Alaskan history.

UCSF is committed to making its facilities, activities, and events accessible. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.
