Join the UCSF Retirees Association (UCSFRA) for an outing* to Presidio Main Post in San Francisco! City Guides will provide the history of the area and the various iterations since its establishment in 1776. Information about the wildlife and the many places worth visiting will be discussed along with an emphasis on women connected to the Presidio and relationship between the military and the refugees from the 1906 disaster. The tour will include a visit to the Digital Arts Center and end at the Earthquake Shacks. Snacks and refreshments will be offered after the tour at the Institute of Aging Enrichment Center.
