North Bay Discovery Day in Santa Rosa: Saturday, October 27, 2018, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 350 Bennett Valley Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
Volunteer Opportunity: We need hand and joint models for the Hands-on Science booth, where kids will get to experience what it would be like to do simple tasks without the use of the joints in their hands.
Contra Costa Discovery Day in Concord: Saturday, October 27, 2018, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Cal State East Bay Concord Campus, 4700 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Concord, CA 94521
Volunteer Opportunity: We need hand and joint models for the Hands-on Science booth, where kids will get to experience what it would be like to do simple tasks without the use of the joints in their hands.
Discovery Day at AT&T Park: Saturday, November 3, 2018, 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. (morning shift) and 12 - 4:30 p.m. (afternoon shift) at 24 Willie Mays Plaza, San Francisco, CA 94107
Volunteer Opportunity: We are looking for volunteers with medical experience to help run the Human Organs booth, which will feature hands-on activities for kids and their families. Our alumni volunteers will be paired with a UCSF medical student volunteer.

New volunteers: A brief hands-on training at UCSF will be set up in early October before the Discovery Day event.
