Please join us for our annual spring lunch in person*! Come early to catch up with longtime friends, reconnect with former colleagues, and meet new acquaintances!

Our guest speaker will be Robert Wachter, MD, resident alum, professor and chair of the UCSF Department of Medicine and author of 300 articles and six books. He coined the term “hospitalist” in 1996 and is often considered the “father” of the hospitalist field. His 2015 book, The Digital Doctor: Hope, Hype and Harm at the Dawn of Medicine’s Computer Age, was a New York Times science bestseller. From 2020-2022, his tweets on COVID-19 were viewed more than 400 million times by 260,000 followers and have served as a trusted source of information on the clinical, public health, and policy issues surrounding the pandemic.
