Join fellow UCSF retirees to learn from guest speaker Ildiko Polony as she shares about the history and mission of Sutro Stewards as well as volunteer opportunities.

Founded in 2006, Sutro Stewards has developed programs to maintain trails and provide habitat conservation to the Mount Sutro Open Space Reserve, an ecological oasis in the heart of San Francisco. Restoration of trails provides access to the Mount Sutro Open Space and through conservation, protect and enhance native plant populations. In 2012, The Mount Sutro Native Plant Nursery began operating to conserve unique plant species of Mount Sutro and grow additional species for habitat restoration to provide wildlife habitat and forage.

UCSF is committed to making its facilities, activities, and events accessible. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible.
