6:30-8:30 p.m.

Join us as we gather to celebrate the spirit of community and honor the contributions of our nurses during Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Enjoy an evening of food and fellowship as moderator Adrian Espinosa, MSN ’15, RN, MPH, PHN, FNP-BC, immediate past president of the UCSF Nursing Alumni Association, leads a conversation with Susan Wong, BSN ’78, RN, who authored The Power of Pooping in 2022 after co-launching Butt Talks TV with her son.

Dubbed the “Rear Admiral” and the “Poop Whisperer” in clinic before retiring in 2021 after 40+ years, “Nurse Wong” will share about her efforts to transform health through education and open discussion.

UCSF is committed to making its facilities, activities, and events accessible. To request a reasonable accommodation for this event, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.
